Go Figure!

Still I re-edit the novel even in this phase. I guess I can't completely get it to the way I like it though it is being published this year... this July... I guess it's alright though. My Editor is also working heavily on it for me so between our minds we should get it to where I can stand it.

I do fear that means that I don't know if I can re-read it because I might try to push back its publication. Ah well... I will continue and it will be ready I swear that to you.

Characters...characters... characters... that's what I keep working on. Some minor tweaks here and there and making sure that it's not too confusing... but I think after three years this novel will finally see the light it deserves.

I pray and do hope that it will so that I might enjoy reading it again in paper back.

  1. That is so exciting! Are you going to have a release party? This deserves a major celebration. The release day is coming up.

    Major Congrats.

  2. I'm not 100% sure if I am or not... I don't know what I want to do yet besides make sure it's completely ready. I was told I should do a contest and give the winner a free autographed copy but I don't know what contest to begin.

  3. It's always hard to just put a book down and let it be done xD But I'm sure it is more than fine :3

I would suggest and art contest ^_~ but that might be because that is my own strength.

  4. A contest for a free copy of your book would normally consist of you saying "comment on this post" and then you'll draw a name from a hat. That's how a lot of writers do it, though you can do something fancy too, like say "post your favorite ____ in this post" or something fun and playful. Most writers just say, "comment in order to have your name in the hat" and leave it at that.

I did this once, but only had 3 people put their names in, so I would suggest finding other social networks that you can get people to link to your blog from to post a comment for the free book, like announce the contest on facebook and myspace.

  5. I totally feel you on this. We all want our novels to be PERFECT-- but hopefully we can all get to the point where we're satisfied.
